Not only is this disease forgotten about, but many people are unaware of the forgotten facts too.
The main aim of this project is to raise more awareness of this forgotten disease. According to a recent survey that I carried out, it is quite clear that the general public are not fully aware of Alopecia and the different types this disease can have. Learning and educating the general public about Alopecia is one of the first steps to increasing people’s awareness and therefore encouraging them to do more.
